Quick Detachment (QD) mounts were revolutionary when they first arrived on the market. QDs addressed many issues and limitations that the static mounts could not. However, the military, law enforcement and shooting enthusiasts have been hesitant to use QD attachments since they have been known to unintentionally release from the weapon during use. Additionally, units that work in a maritime environment have discontinued the use of QDs due to the potential of losing a weapon in the water. 
 
T10 Tactical realized this problem and engineered a solution to stop your QD from inadvertently disconnecting.
 
Our patent pending S.A.F.E. system was designed so that you insert the QD into the attachment on the rail, with the button facing toward the muzzle. This concept ensures your sling is always “pulling” the QD into the attachment. The QD is then rotated at 25° counterclockwise, so that the tab is now located behind the rim of the attachment.
 
Once this is done, it is virtually impossible for your sling to release accidentally during use, all thanks to our design.
