Our patent pending T10 S.A.F.E. QD was designed with a built-in tab (key) located on the post. (See picture) Additionally, all components of the T10 S.A.F.E. QD are made from Stainless Steel, with a Nitride coating, to ensure durability in any environment including salt water, jungle or riverine operations.
 
The benefit to having this tab on the post of the T10 S.A.F.E. QD is so that when you insert our QD into the T10 S.A.F.E. attachment, you push the tab through the "Keyway" slot on the attachment and then rotate the T10 S.A.F.E. QD 25° so the tab is now located behind the rim of the attachment and cannot be pulled out.
 
This concept ensures your sling is securely attached to your rifle, and greatly reduces the chance of having your QD release from the attachment.
 
If you need additional confidence that your sling will not release from your attachment, insert the QD into the T10 S.A.F.E. Attachment with the push-button facing toward the muzzle of your firearm.
 
This concept of mounting creates a “Pulling” effect on the QD so there is constant tension on the QD while it is in the T10 S.A.F.E. Rail Attachment.
