Quick Detachment (QD) mounts were revolutionary when they first arrived on the market. The QD addressed many issues and limitations that static mounts could not. In fact, the military, law enforcement and shooting enthusiasts have been hesitant to use QD attachments since they have been known to unintentionally release from the weapon during use.
 
Additionally, units that work in a maritime environment have discontinued the use of QDs due to the potential of losing a weapon in the water. 
 
T10 Tactical realized this problem and engineered a solution to stop your QD from inadvertently disconnecting.
 
Our patent pending S.A.F.E. system was designed so that you can insert the QD into the attachment using two different methods. You can insert your QD with the push button facing toward the operator, next, you rotate the QD 25° clockwise and now the tab on the QD post is located behind the rim of the attachment and cannot pull out accidentally. 
 
Need additional confidence that your sling will not release from your weapon accidentally?Use the second method of mounting the QD. 
 
 Insert the QD into the T10 S.A.F.E. Attachment with the push-button facing toward the muzzle of your firearm and rotate the QD 25° counterclockwise so that the tab is located behind the rim of the attachment. 
 
This concept creates a “Pulling” effect on the sling so there is constant tension on the QD while it is in the T10 S.A.F.E. Rail Attachment.
 
Unlike conventional attachments where the force on the QD is always pulling outward, the T10 S.A.F.E. System is pulling the QD into the attachment offering an additional level of confidence that your sling will stay connected to your rifle.
 
Once this is done, it is virtually impossible for your sling to release accidentally during use, all thanks to our design.
